Garage Door Elora's Story
Garage Doors Elora was founded in 2003. Darryl Hamilton, our founder, started his working life at the age of 14, installing and repairing overhead doors for Garage Doors of Ontario. Darryl took a break and drove a truck for some of his adult life. With a vision of self-employment, he founded Garage Doors Elora in 2003.
Fast forward 22 years to 2025 and Darryl now has 8 employees and 5 trucks helping Centre Wellington and surrounding areas with all its residential and commercial garage door and opener needs.

At Garage Doors Elora we believe we are only as strong as every employee working with us. Everyone who works with Garage Doors Elora was born, raised and still resides in Fergus-Elora. Everyone also has a past history with the owners meaning we knew them before they started working with us. Whether through Hockey or Lacrosse, family, friends, or school, this strong base of a relationship has led to a very tightly-knit team that thrives on helping our community and teamwork.
At Garage Doors Elora we service all the local community center, township works buildings, as well as the fire halls.
